Agile Project Delivery
Agile is an approach to delivering products that is adaptable, collaborative, and continuously improves. As the complexity of a project increases, the ability for a high performing few to maintain project deliverables decreases. Below are services that we provide to help you setup your Agile project, or get your Agile team up to speed.
Values and Principles
The foundation for an Agile project will always be Values and Principles. Because the Agile Teams are self-organizing and adaptive, it is never enough to use the tools and processes. The Agile teams must understand and embody values and principles that allow them to ask the right questions, make the right decisions, and pivot their methodologies when necessary.
Kanban is a proven tool for scheduling and managing work in progress (WIP). It was developed by Taiichi Ohno, the creator of the Toyota Production System (Lean Manufacturing) and continues to be used today by teams that have adopted Agile.
Relevate uses Kanban to manage production for design teams and also for offsite fabrication workflow.
Scrum is a framework for solving complex, ever changing, problems. While it often utilizes Kanban in order to maintain transparency, Scrum separates itself by providing an added layer of roles and principles in order to plan and adapt to value-added work.
Relevate uses Scrum for engineering and conceptual analysis. It integrates easily with a construction team’s last planner systems. If needed, our consultants are adept at filling the “Scrum Master” role in addition to helping to set up the system.
